The new 2023 North Carolina High School Basketball Association (NCHSAA) season kicks off on November 17th, and there are a number of talented players in the Wilmington area to keep an eye on.

New Hanover looks to continue their dominance in the Mideast League with players like Allen, Butts, Kornegay, Crittenden and Billings.

Hoggard looks to build on their success in the 2022-23 season with Lisk, West, Herring, Davis and Gillespie expected to play key roles.

Laney looks to make a splash in the Mideast League this season with Helms, Bowen and Waddell leading the way.

North Brunswick hopes to compete with the likes of Hoggard and Laney this season with Daniels, Bernard, Mosley, Hood, Ballard and Lindbert leading the way.
